Copy the savegame you want to install to the SD card (directory "wiisaves/", just keep the directory structure created by the "Savegame Extractor").I had some that works flawlessly (at least for me), but I borrowed my Wii to a friend, so I can't upload the app with my configs now. if SaveGame Manager GX is unstable or has more requirements). Except the game doesnt recognize my save state, or save file.

Savegame Installer allows you to install a save game dumped by the " Savegame Extractor" in your Wii, data.bin files not supported. Savegame Manager GX can be pretty annoying with incorrect settings, especially without a meta.xml file (that, for some reason, the official website DON'T provide). SaveGame Manager GX has the same features as this application plus more, or with more bug fixes. It is recommended to have a NAND backup with either BootMii as boot2 or Priiloader with BootMii as IOS installed before proceeding with the usage of this application. Compress - copies a save to a folder and compresses it. This homebrew application makes permanent changes to the Wii's NAND, thus, this application should be used with caution. Extract - copies a save to a folder with the name 00010000 + the 8 digit hex number of the ID4 of the game. This application should only be used if there is a special reason to (e.g. SaveGame Manager GX has the same features as this application plus more, or with more bug fixes. Oh one other question, doing a extract overwrites a old extract if found correct? It seems to but I wanted to double check that as well.This application has been made redundant by SaveGame Manager GX. One question though (sorry if this has been addressed before but I didn't see it quickly looking though the 70 pages of this thread), the compress option makes a copy the same as if it was copied with the Wii Data management? Extract is obviously Save Gamemanager GX format, but if I use the compress option, could I reinstall that save via the Wii Data Management if I needed? Savegame Manager GX seems to only recognise miis in miigx format, but my avatar editor only saves them in. Such as save one at a time, or save the whole lot. Thoroughly impressed as it looks as though it is part of the original interface, not to mention the great features. Recently I tried this app and WOW what a wonderful job. Alternatively he can use the option -extract to force direct extraction from a WBFS partition admin. I have been managing/backing up my saves for a long time though the Wii data management and for the protected ones using a Prii loader hack to allow copying of even if the saves are protected ones.
